Elisa has just accepted a role in Sparrow Tree Theatre Company's upcoming Festival of New Plays, "October 2029".  Performances are October 28-30 at 8pm.  Stay tuned for more details.

Here's a little bit about the festival:By the year 2029, futurist Ray Kurzweil believes that machines will be able to pass the Turing test, making them indistinguishable from humans.  Inspired by this prediction, Sparrowtree Theatre Company commissioned five emerging playwrights to explore their own vision of what the world will look like 18 years from now.  The result is five unique, visionary short plays that reflect a wide range of possibilities.

NYTheatre.com Review
"Truly this is a movement piece and all the performers on stage are masters of it."

Curtain Up Review
"This visceral incarnation of Electra is not for purists or the faint-hearted. But adventurous theatergoers who like their Greek drama with a twist may enjoy Rosin's new take on the old revenge tale."

What do you get when you mix Kill Bill, Akira Kurosawa, and Sophocles, with a little bit of Hamlet thrown in for good measure? You might get Butoh Electra– the thrilling, performance-art-piece / classic tragedy that fuses modern dance, martial arts, and one of the oldest revenge stories known to man in a theatrical experience that will leave your skin crawling and mind scrambling to remember which way is up.

Come see Elisa as Trust in this exciting new piece of theatre!
